In a world where sales is often seen through a narrow lens of stereotypes – aggressive, competitive, and dominated by outdated perceptions – I am on a mission to change that narrative. Sales is not just a profession; it is, in my view, one of the most rewarding and essential roles in our economy. It drives innovation, supports job creation, and fuels company growth.
Empowering Women in Sales: A New Era Begins
Addressing the imbalance
Sales has changed. Digital selling, flexible working, new routes to financial independence – the landscape looks nothing like it did five years ago.
But the gender gap? Still there!
Fewer women are entering the profession, fewer putting themselves forward for senior roles, fewer visible as the leaders and influencers shaping where sales goes next.
That’s what WISE exists to fix.
Through both WISE and WISE ‘Unhinged’, we put a spotlight on the women doing the work – the wins, the failures, ALL of it – because real change needs real stories, not just highlight reels.
Attracting Diverse Talent
How can we attract more diverse talent into sales and, most importantly, create environments where everyone can thrive? This is the question WISE seeks to answer.
Introducing WISE
Through my podcast, I have real conversations with women who are actually changing sales – not just talking about it. We tackle representation, inclusion, and the uncomfortable truths the industry keeps tiptoeing around.
We share stories of people who’ve broken through, built careers on their own terms, and proved that sales done right is about relationships, not pressure. No fluff. No corporate speak. Just actionable, honest insight from leaders who’ve lived it.
And now – WISE Unhinged.
The season you didn’t know you needed but this time we go to the failures, the near-misses, the moments that nearly broke them because that’s where the real learning lives.
If WISE is the boardroom conversation, Unhinged is what gets said after the meeting ends.
You’ll also find Lauren on LinkedIn – loud, direct, and unapologetically herself.
Her mission is simple: make sales a profession we can all be proud of and help every seller become the best version of themselves. The podcast is part of that.
So is every post, every conversation, every time she refuses to let the industry off the hook.
Who is Lauren?

Today she leads Interlink’s global agency partnerships from New York City challenging generic demand programs and helping marketing and sales win together through personalised, ethical selling.
She’s also been recognised as:
Trailblazer in Media Trends Winner (Dick Reed Awards)– 2026
- Mentor of the Year – (Lead5050)- 2025

Beyond the day job, Lauren gives back and then some. She volunteers with The New York Junior League, runs free webinars to help young people see sales for what it actually can be, and has even represented UN Women as a delegate at the CSW in New York. She speaks regularly at industry events, runs her own private mentoring practice, and is stepping into board and advisory work (when she can find the time!).
Her mission hasn’t changed: building revenue with trust, not tactics.

As Founder of WISE, I believe in the transformative power of community. By lifting each other up, sharing knowledge, and providing mentorship, we can break down barriers and create opportunities for women at all levels in sales.
I also believe that by empowering more women to pursue and excel in sales careers, we can contribute to greater economic equality. Financial stability is a cornerstone of overall well-being, and sales positions offer a pathway to achieving it. By supporting women in this field, we can help them build a secure future for themselves and their families, fostering a more inclusive and prosperous society.

While content and marketing materials may reference men and women in some discussions, I fully acknowledge that gender exists on a diverse and multifaceted spectrum. I am deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where people of all identities, backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences are not only respected but celebrated.
I recognize that true inclusivity goes beyond language and representation—it requires a continuous effort to build spaces where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered to thrive. Whether through actions, policies, or day-to-day interactions, my focus is to actively champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of this field.
My ultimate goal is to ensure that every individual, regardless of gender, race, ability, sexual orientation, or any other identity, feels seen, respected, and empowered to contribute to collective success. Always open to thoughts, perspectives and feedback. Reach out at: lauren.palmer22@gmail.com
