The sales industry is at a pivotal moment

According to LinkedIn’s Women in Sales report, only 39% of sales roles are occupied by women globally, with an even greater imbalance in leadership positions. This under-representation is largely due to outdated stereotypes and biases that have persisted in our industry for far too long.

Through WISE, we can share intelligence, lift each other up, and pave the way for more women to enter and thrive in sales roles.

How it works

We’ll primarily use WhatsApp for communication, creating a global community of women in sales. This platform will help us connect, share knowledge, and offer mentorship in an accessible way. What better way to support your growth than to have a network of senior sales leaders outside of your business, to help and guide you!

Outside of our what’s app, we will also look to run:

Opportunities throughout the year to meet f2f and to learn from each other! Likely these will be city focussed, so apologies if this does mean some people may be excluded.

Adding Members to the Group

If you would like to add someone to the group, please reach out to me as the admin first for approval. Once approved, I will add them to our what’s app comms and here, you will find updates on virtual or f2f events to bring us together!

My name is Lauren Palmer (Cavilli) and I I have worked in sales for over a decade and have always thrived in this environment, which is all about fostering partnerships, relationships and helping to solve clients’ problems. However, I couldn’t help but acknowledge that the more senior I got in my commercial leadership career, the less women were sitting around the table with me.

As Founder of WISE, I believe in the transformative power of community. By lifting each other up, sharing knowledge, and providing mentorship, we can break down barriers and create opportunities for women at all levels in sales.

I also believe that by empowering more women to pursue and excel in sales careers, we can contribute to greater economic equality. Financial stability is a cornerstone of overall well-being, and sales positions offer a pathway to achieving it. By supporting women in this field, we can help them build a secure future for themselves and their families, fostering a more inclusive and prosperous society.
